Delete your OurWay account
The fastest way: delete it yourself
If you can still sign in, you can delete your own account immediately — no request, no waiting:
- Open OurWay and go to Settings → Account.
- Choose Delete account.
- Confirm by typing your display name, then confirm again.
Open Settings (you will be asked to sign in first).
If you cannot sign in
No support address is configured for this deployment.
Google Play requires this page to give a working way to request deletion. Set NEXT_PUBLIC_SUPPORT_EMAIL before submitting the app.
What is deleted
- Your profile: name, display name, avatar, bio, school, major, graduation year, pronouns, and social link.
- Your account and sign-in credentials. You will be signed out everywhere and cannot sign back in.
- Your club memberships, join requests, event RSVPs, and saved events and posts.
- Your connections, and the blocks you had set.
- Your one-to-one conversations.
What is kept, and why
A small amount of data is not deleted, because deleting it would either destroy someone else's content or erase a safety record:
- Messages you sent to other people. They remain in those conversations, shown without your profile attached — they are part of the other person's history, not only yours.
- Reports and moderation records involving your content, so a safety record does not vanish when an account is removed.
- Clubs, posts and events. These belong to the club rather than to an individual and remain with it.
Full detail is in the Privacy Policy.
If you own a club
A club must always have an owner. If you are the primary owner of a club, transfer ownership to another officer before deleting your account — the app will tell you which clubs need this.
